Growing up in the crusty, south side neighborhoods of Chicago has skewed and informed Sharon’s view of the subject matter she photographs today.
Sharon’s career originated in interior architecture. When so much of her work evolved into graphic design and writing, she opened her own studio twelve years ago.
Initially using a camera as a tool in this business, the artistic aspect of photography became so compelling that she started Silent G Imagery to explore and exploit fine art photography along with her partner, Robert Quaglia.
Sharon is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Architecture and a minor in Psychology.
She resides in Dallas, Texas, but her heart still plays on the streets of the south side.
